Jimtown has been archirivals with Concord High School since the program started in 1955, and the series is (as of 2008) tied 24-24. The Jimmies have won 24 Northern State Conference titles, 17 sectional titles and 10 regional titles. The Jimmies play at Knepp Field. Most of these titles were under Bill Sharpe, the former head football coach of 28 years and current athletic director. He retired in 2007. The Jimtown basketball team won its first state championship in 2004 and is becoming a powerhouse in class 2A. The head coach is Randy DeShone.
